Services Civil Surveying Geotechnical Materials Testing Environmental Consulting Landscape Architecture

Given the wide range of subsurface soil conditions encountered, it is often critical to perform a geotechnical investigation to determine site suitability prior to proceeding with purchase or development of a site, and to design the foundation system for a proposed structure. Our approach to geotechnical engineering projects is to work closely with the client in the proposal phase to fully understand the type of development and related structural loads proposed for a site. We then create a customized scope of services to obtain the required field and laboratory data specific to that project.

Our staff has the educational background and practical experience in conducting a wide range of geotechnical investigations including those required for projects ranging from simple one-story residential and commercial facilities to multistory structures, retaining walls, dams, and highways. We also provide design services for retaining walls, pavements and subgrade, stabilized slopes, retention ponds, construction dewatering systems, and temporary retaining walls for construction sites. When required by project conditions, we coordinate load testing of pilot foundation systems and interpret the load test data for final foundation design criteria.
